e-chan first met Nico when she was still a Shinx just outside of Sandgem Town. Scooter was eager to catch his first Pokemon but wanted to see how it was done before he gave it a try. While travelling to Jubilife City both e-chan and Scooter were confronted by a feisty Shinx that was looking for battle. e-chan decided to show Scooter the art of catching Pokemon by catching the Shinx. He sent out Tremors to fight her and after a quick battle e-chan successfully catches the Shinx in his Premier Ball. Nico really loves to battle and show off her strength to her opponents; she likes to tease her teammate Recharge because she loves how he reacts when he gets angry. Nico evolved into a Luxio during a training session to prepare for battle against Maylene and later again evolved into a Luxray while battling Fantina's Mismagius.
Nico's ability is Intimidate and her current moveset is:

-Crunch
-Wild Charge
-Signal Beam
