e-chan first met K-Rock when he was still a Sandile at the Desert Resort in Unova. e-chan, e-kun and e-sama decided to go to the Desert Resort to check out the ruins and possibly discover some Pokemon fossils after hearing how Megumi found some there months earlier. Soon after arriving there a sandstorm started and e-chan found himself separated from Kyle. Worried about his lost Oshawott, e-chan set off to find him, getting separated from e-kun and e-sama in the process. e-chan later finds Kyle but is lost within the sandstorm until a cool little Sandile finds them and leads them to the Relic Castle where they wait until the sandstorm ends. That night, once the sandstorm passed, e-chan left the Relic Castle with Kyle and the Sandile and reunites with e-kun and e-sama. e-chan asks the Sandile to come with him, which the Sandile agrees to if Kyle could beat him in battle without using any Water-type attacks. The battle begins and with a lot of determination Kyle triumphs in battle over the Sandile and e-chan catches it with one of his Dusk Balls. K-Rock is a very calm and relaxed Pokemon who likes to take it easy except when it comes to battle, where he always plays to win. K-Rock evolved into a Krokorok during battle against Elesa's Emolga and evolved again into a Krookodile while battling some wild Pokemon on Victory Road.
K-Rock's ability is Moxie and his current moveset is:
