e-chan first met Ami just outside of Undella Town in Unova. e-chan heard of a Mienfoo that was challenging all trainers that passed by to battle and defeating them most of the time. Eager to see this feisty Pokemon, e-chan left Undella Town to head towards Route 14 where he sure enough ran into the battle ready Pokemon. e-chan sends Kyle out to battle the Mienfoo and soon after one failed capture attempt, Kyle manages to finally land the deciding blow, defeating the Mienfoo. The young Pokemon was so impressed with Kyle's strength that she allowed e-chan to catch her in one of his Heal Balls. Ami is a true battler and is usually the one that makes sure that Sugar gets her daily exercise; she also likes to tease Aurora, claiming that even after they both evolve that she'll always be the stronger of the two.
Ami's ability is Regenerator and her current moveset is:

-U-Turn
-Hi Jump Kick
-Aura Sphere
