While still in Striaton City, e-chan, e-kun and e-sama were recruited by Prof. Fennel to assist her in her research; she had found a way to send humans to the Pokemon Dream World through their Pokemon's dreams. After being equipped with the proper equipment both e-chan and Kyle go to sleep and find themselves in the Pokemon Dream World. While exploring the area both of them met many different Pokemon, including a timid Pansear. Kyle and the Pansear became quick friends; seeing this e-chan wished that he had a Poke Ball with him when suddenly a Dream Ball appeared next to him, using it to catch the Pansear. When e-chan and Kyle awoke from their slumber e-chan notices the same Dream Ball he used in his dream with him in the bed. Upon calling out the Pokemon inside he saw that it was the same Pansear from his dreams. Juan is a kind yet sort of cowardly Pokemon who frightens easily; he dreams of one day being strong and brave like his friend Kyle.
Juan's ability is Blaze and his current moveset is:
-Acrobatics
-Flame Burst
-Bite
-Fire Blast
