While on a mission to hunt down a Great Baggi in the Tundra area, Pepper encounters a young girl with a wounded leg inside a cave, trying to take shelter from the snowstorm outside. Treating her wound, Pepper learns that her name is Clara Mahant; through a series of multiple events, she had gotten seperated from Selinika and ended up in this arctic land. With her leg wounded in the way it was, she wouldn't be able to defend herself from any monster attacks...and the entire area was crawling with them. The Great Baggi would have to wait; his new mission: get Clara back to base camp so that he could get in touch with the guild and notify them of what's happened. The journey back proved to be tricky when the Great Baggi he was sent to hunt down shows up and wanders around the area, though.In the end, Pepper and Clara managed to evade the monster and get back home safely. Afterwards, the two of them became an official couple and do a lot of things together.
