e-chan helped e-kun get ready for the kind of battles he would see at the Battle Frontier and Poketopia, after getting invitations to both, by having several different types of battles with him. As thanks for his help e-kun gave e-chan a light blue Pokemon egg as thanks. With proper care the egg eventually hatched into a cute little Froakie. Even as a newly hatched Pokemon, Asui was highly focused on training and becoming stronger. She became fast friends with Kyle, e-chan's Oshawott, and the two of them became constant training companions. She loved how Kyle and many of the other Pokemon around her combined attacks to make something completely new and unique; she spent most of her time trying to find her own unique combination move with the few moves she had at her disposal. By the time she became a Greninja she had learned what moves work together best for her and has built her strategies around those moves. Asui is a very calm and collected Pokemon who does love girly things when given to her. Like a few other of her teammates, she has a crush on her trainer, e-chan.
