Tank was a member of a team of thief Pokemon that were robbing many of the homes in e-chan's town. Due to his unusually paranoid nature, Tank found his niche in the team as the one who came up with backup plans and countermeasures for just in case something went wrong during a heist. When his team robbed e-chan's home and were confronted by his Pokemon, he fought against Tremors, e-chan's Torterra, and was eventually defeated when Tremors discovered the flaw in Tank's hit-and-run battle strategy. Once the rest of his teammates were gathered together, e-chan offered them the chance to stay with him, an offer that Tank cautiously accepted.
