As a Litleo, Mona was always an eager go-getter. Looking for friends, romance and adventure she sought out Ashuro and the Pokemon with him and sort-of forcibly joined his team. Ashuro taught Mona about the many fundamentals of battle and how to use her own unique talents. Mona greatly looked up to Cloud and thought he was a cool guy, even going as far as to say that she would marry him when she evolves. However, when she did evolve into Pyroar her preferences and personality changed. Instead of the energetic go-getter she initially was she became almost a mirror-image of Violet and she prefered brainy guys like Dylan, much to Cloud's dismay. Thanks to her typing Mona can handle the Steel-type Pokemon that the team has trouble with.
Mona's ability is Unnerve and her current moveset is:

-Hyper Voice
-Flamethrower
