e-chan first met Mimi about a week after he and Cinder returned home from Kalos. She made her presence known one morning when she appeared before Momo from underground and promptly bit her on the head. After Scooter and e-chan wrestled the bite-happy Gible off of Momo's skull they questioned her. It turns out that the Gible was actually Momo's little sister from Sinnoh and also the Gible that escaped from e-chan when Scooter and him were in the Wayward Cave. Apparently Mimi likes to bite onto heads as a way of greeting and playing with others; that explained why Momo begged Scooter to catch and take her with him when they first met. When she couldn't find Momo anywhere in the cave she moved to desert road outside of Lumiose City in Kalos. Mimi lived there happily for a while and made friends with the Pokemon in the area. When she saw e-chan come through the area she recognized him, became interested in him and started following him around. While doing so she met and became friends with Raine and served as a source of encouragement for her. Mimi followed e-chan as he got his final gym badges, competed in the Kalos League, searched for Mega Stones and even stowed away on the plane that took him home. As you can guess, Mimi is a very sociable and quirky Pokemon who can make friends with ease despite her habit of play biting.
